We used Five to rapidly develop a full-stack application - its low-code nature allowed us to focus on what users see. Five seamlessly runs SQL queries, and manages the visualisations from what we selected in the Chart Forms. For more complex features, we utilised TypeScript in Five’s code editor to process custom logic like calling an external API.

Five is a rapid, robust way to take spreadsheet-based business processes, and replace them with better validated forms for data collection, and approval workflows. Many business processes can be configured in Five very quickly. I like that lots of the common configuration is rapid click-ops (but all that configuration is saved in a config file which can be reviewed, backed up, and version controlled), and when I want complex functionality, Five makes it easy to write custom functions, and perform traditional integrations, using JavaScript on the Five side.

The more I am working with Five the more I believe that Five is the future of enterprise application development.
