Step 1: Create a New Application

To start, log in to the Five development environment and click on Applications, then hit the yellow Plus icon to create a new app. Name your application Account Database and save.

Step 2: Creating Database Tables

Navigate to Data > Table Wizard to create your database tables. Set up the following tables:

  • Users: Contains fields like UserID, Username, Email, and Password.
  • Roles: Fields include RoleID and RoleName.
  • UserRoles: This junction table connects Users and Roles, holding foreign keys from both tables.

Step 3: Setting Up Relationships and Finalizing

Once your tables are created, go to Data > Database Modeler to visualize and confirm the relationships among your tables. Ensure that UserRoles successfully links Users and Roles for a many-to-many relationship. Save your changes, and your account database is ready!
