Quick Guide to Creating an Order Processing System
In this guide, we will walk you through a simplified process for developing an Order Processing System using Five. Follow these three main steps:
Step 1: Set Up Your Application
Begin by creating a new application in Five. Navigate to the Applications section and click the Plus icon to start a new project. Name your application something like Order Processing System and save it.
Step 2: Create Your Database Structure
Utilize the Data > Table Wizard to create the necessary tables for your order processing system. You will typically need:
- Products Table: Store product information such as Name, SKU, Price, and Rating.
- Orders Table: Keep records of order statuses and dates.
- ProductOrders Table: A junction table that connects products and orders to establish a many-to-many relationship.
